SAN DIEGO, CA – NOVEMBER 5, 2015 — WorkWell Prevention and Care (WWPC) today announced that CEO Liz Griggs has decided to join a new healthcare and technology private equity backed acquisition platform. Effective immediately, George Vieth, a Director of WWPC, will assume the role of CEO. Ms. Griggs will remain actively involved with the company as a director and shareholder.

As co-founder and CEO, Ms. Griggs has grown WWPC into a leading provider of prevention, diagnostic and treatment services to the workers’ compensation industry. Under her leadership, WWPC has become a trusted cost-containment partner to some of the nation’s largest insurance carriers, third party administrators, and Fortune 500 companies. About her transition, Ms. Griggs remarked, “I am excited about the excellent growth prospects for WWPC and am confident in the outstanding team managing that growth. I look forward to continuing to work closely with George and the rest of the WWPC team to extend the company’s reputation as a great partner for our clients and a positive force in the industry.”

George Vieth brings a wealth of executive healthcare experience to WWPC. He served most recently as CEO of Landmark Healthcare, a Sacramento-based firm specializing in developing and managing networks of physical medicine providers and facilitating best clinical practices on behalf of its clients. Prior to Landmark, George served as a senior executive at Humana. About his new role, George said, “I am thrilled and humbled by the opportunity to lead WWPC. This is a company with a compelling value proposition for its clients and strong momentum in the market. I look forward to continuing the growth of the business Liz and the WWPC team have built.”

Chrysalis Managing Partner and WWPC Director, Koleman Karleski, commented, “We appreciate the vision, hard work, dedication and leadership that Liz has brought to the company.  We plan to build on the success that Liz has created to date as George Vieth, who has worked with Chrysalis before, assumes the CEO role.”
